Jackson, Miss. – According to the spring 2017 Leapfrog Group survey, has earned an “A” rating for the second survey in a row. St. Dominic’s was one of 823 hospitals nationwide and 13 in Mississippi to receive an “A” rating for its commitment to reducing errors, infections and accidents that can harm patients. A 2012 Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality Johns Hopkins Medicine report showed that if all “B”, “C”, “D” and “F” hospitals performed the same as “A” hospitals, 33,459 lives could be saved every year.
