The Consumer Product Safety Commission has ordered a recall of more than 23,400 Dream On Me spring and foam mattresses for cribs and toddler beds, because they don’t meet federal flammability standards and pose a fire hazard. The recall includes 10 models of crib and toddler mattresses in a variety of colors and patterns. The affected mattresses were sold on Amazon.com, Kohls.com, ToysRUs.com, Walmart.com, and Wayfair.com from January 2016 through December 2016 for between $40 and $90.

If you have a Dream On Me child’s mattress, check the product’s model number against the CPSC recall notice, https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2018/Dream-On-Me-Recalls-Crib-Toddler-Bed-Mattresses-Due-to-Violation-of-Federal-Mattress-Flammability-Standard, which includes the full list of models. You can find the model number on a tag at the center of the top of the mattress.
